Andrew Garfield may return as Spider-Man, but conditions apply!

Hollywood actor Andrew Garfield, who played the superhero in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and its 2014 sequel, is keen on slipping into the Spidey suit again.
In a recent interview with Esquire, when asked if he'd be up for the role again, he said, "For sure, I would 100% come back if it was the right thing."

Garfield has some conditions for making a comeback in the Spider-Man franchise.
He said it has to be something "additive to the culture," with a fresh and exciting concept.
He added, "If there's a great concept or something that hasn't been done before that's unique and odd and exciting... I love that character, and it brings joy. If part of what I bring is joy, then I'm joyful in return."

Garfield's last appearance as 'Spider-Man' and future plans
Garfield was last seen as Spider-Man in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, where he shared the screen with fellow Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland.
Reflecting on that experience, he said, "I still can't believe it happened. I snuck into a theater on opening night and just watched with my baseball cap on and my mask."

Garfield also opened up about his sudden exit from the Spider-Man franchise after the second film.
