Anushka Ranjan, daughter of prominent film producers Anu and Shashi Ranjan, is all set to make her debut as a film producer. The project is currently in the pre-production stage, reported Mid-Day. The young producer has not yet disclosed whether she and her Bollywood actor-husband Aditya Seal (Khel Khel Mein) will feature in the movie.

Film to begin shooting next year
Ranjan's debut production is a "human interest story," for which she is currently seeking a director. The shooting for the film is scheduled to commence early next year. A source from the production team revealed that the logistics and other details of the film will be announced later this year. "Growing up in a family that lives and breathes cinema has inspired me to tell stories that matter. This project is very close to my heart," said Ranjan.

Upcoming work: Ranjan to play negative role in 'Mixture'
In addition to her debut production, Ranjan will also be seen in a new avatar in the upcoming series Mixture. She will be playing her first negative role in the show, which also stars Ahana Kumra. Previously, Ranjan has been a part of projects such as Wedding Pullav, Batti Gul Meter Chalu, and Fittrat.
