In this regard, ABP Tamil Nadu reached out to actor Sathyaraj's daughter, Divya, for a comment. She responded, "We have also received information about Sathyaraj acting in the biopic of Prime Minister Modi. We expect an official announcement regarding this film next week." Addressing the surprising choice of Sathyaraj, she explained, "Look at it as a character rather than a principle. If you play a villain in a movie, do you have to be a villain in reality?"

In addition to the biopic, Sathyaraj will soon be seen in Weapon—the sophomore work of writer-director Guhan Seniappan. Vasanth Ravi plays a member of a gang of assassins on a mission to kill Sathyaraj's character, who is described as a "gangster," "ghost," and "superhuman." Weapon is slated to hit theaters on May 23.
