Bachchan helps KBC contestant's son with cerebral palsy, epilepsy

Entertainment

On a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, Amitabh Bachchan was genuinely moved by contestant Pooja Shah's story.
Pooja, an online coding and maths teacher from Mumbai, shared how tough it is for her son—who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy—to get therapy because they live on the fourth floor without a lift.
Bachchan said he would try to find out where her son could get better treatment and that she wouldn't have to spend a lot.

Pooja won ₹12.5 lakh

Pooja played smartly, winning ₹70,000 in the Super Sandook round and using audience support to answer questions.
She chose to walk away with ₹12.5 lakh rather than risk it all, planning to use her winnings for a more accessible home for her son—a decision that really showed how much she cares about making his life better.
