'BB19': Awez slams Amaal, denies seeking work from him
What's the story
Awez Darbar, who was recently evicted from Bigg Boss 19, has lashed out at music composer Amaal Mallik. In an interview with Telly Talk India, he called Mallik "dogla" (two-faced) and shared details about their personal and professional interactions on the show. He also denied seeking work from Mallik despite the latter's claims.
Allegations
Darbar called Mallik a hypocrite
Darbar said, "Salman Khan scolded Amaal a lot, and we actually felt good about it because I never knew Amaal was such a big hypocrite." "In front of me, he pretended to be a friend, but behind my back, he spoke things I wasn't aware of." In another interview with News18 Showsha, he sarcastically said, "As far as the ₹20 lakh claims, thanks to him for disclosing my rates." The influencer promised he'll never work with the singer again.
DM drama
Mallik 1st contacted Darbar for collaborations
Darbar further revealed that Mallik had initially contacted him for collaborations. He told Telly Talk India, "I still have his DMs. He was the first to message me, suggesting we should make a video together." "He kept trying to start a conversation, and I only replied politely with 'Thank you, brother.'" He also claimed that Mallik spoke about his family and work during their exchanges.
Message to father
'I felt very bad when you did that'
Darbar sent a message to Mallik's father Dabboo, saying he didn't want him to apologize. "I would just say to Dabboo uncle, please don't apologize. I felt very bad when you did." "This is between me and him. We are grown-ups, we'll sort it out." "You don't need to worry, and I will never stoop to his level."
