Box office: 'Baahubali: The Epic' collects ₹24cr+ in India
SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Epic—an upgraded, nearly 4-hour re-release combining both original films—hit theaters on October 31. 
 With Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia back on the big screen, fans got to relive the Mahishmati saga in sharper visuals and sound.
'Baahubali: The Epic' on Indian box office
The film pulled in ₹9.65cr on Friday, ₹7.25cr Saturday, and ₹6.3cr Sunday for a strong ₹24.35cr opening weekend. 
 Monday saw a drop to ₹1.35cr but still pushed totals to nearly ₹26cr in India. 
 Telugu audiences led the charge with 53% occupancy; Tamil followed at 40%, Hindi at 15%. 
 It's now the biggest Telugu re-release ever and second among all South Indian re-releases.
