'Kantara 2' in numbers
Even with Friday being a workday, the Hindi version alone pulled in ₹32 crore in two days (as per trade analyst Taran Adarsh).
PVR INOX theaters saw over 8.5 lakh admissions on October 2 thanks to the holiday rush—not just for Kantara but also for other films running at the theaters, such as Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Jolly LLB 3—making it a pretty exciting weekend at the movies.
