The Canadian singer, who last performed a full set in 2020 during her Courage Tour, has been battling stiff person syndrome (SPS), a rare autoimmune neurological disorder. This condition forced her to cancel the North American leg of her tour in 2022.

'I made a promise to come back'
Dion (58), who is set to perform at the Paris venue from September 12, 2026, to May 29, 2027, told her fans: "I made a promise. I made a promise to come back and to be back on stage. Here I am singing for you and singing for me."
"Thank you so very much for your support, your patience. I am everything I am because you love me."

Health challenges
What is SPS?
SPS often leads to muscle stiffness and painful spasms.
It happens when the body's immune system mistakenly attacks healthy nerve cells and has no cure.
After her diagnosis, Dion largely stayed out of the public eye and has only performed three times in limited appearances.
These include a virtual performance at a 2020 charity event for healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony, and Elie Saab's fashion show finale in Riyadh later that year.

The singer announced her comeback on March 30, her birthday, and all tickets reportedly sold out within hours of going on sale.
