'Chandni Bar' sequel announced 25 years after original's release

Chandni Bar is getting a sequel after 25 years!
Titled Chandni Bar 2, the film will be produced by Sandeep Singh and directed by Ajay Bahl.
It's set to hit theaters on December 3, 2026—the same date the original released back in 2001.
Filming starts mid-2026 in Mumbai and Dubai, with the story aiming to revisit tough social issues but through a modern lens.
