CINTAA police complaint filed at Versova against Dhillon, Kolhapure
Drama at CINTAA: Actor Upasana Singh said a police complaint had been filed at Versova police station against former president Poonam Dhillon and former vice president Padmini Kolhapure, claiming they tried to take association documents and belongings from the association's office just a day before the big elections on September 12.
Singh said she was tipped off by another actor and immediately called the police, linking this to earlier worries about record irregularities.
She wondered aloud why Dhillon and Kolhapure were there at such a crucial moment.
Executives quit and Dhillon denies accusations
This isn't the first sign of trouble: last month, several executive members quit over what they called one-sided decisions by Dhillon and Kolhapure.
Poonam Dhillon denied all accusations, describing them as offensive.
With all this drama in the air, expect the upcoming elections to be especially heated.
