Venkatesh's new Telugu film, Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47 (AK 47), kicked off with a solid ₹10.75 crore on opening day but slowed down fast, wrapping up its first week at ₹46 crore.
The big drop by Day seven seems tied to Ramayana hitting theaters around the same time.
'AK 47' Nizam 17.5cr Andhra 16.5cr
Most of the film's earnings came from the Nizam region (₹17.5 crore) and Andhra (₹16.5 crore), with smaller boosts from Ceded, Karnataka, and other parts of India.
With festival holidays coming up, there's still hope for a rebound, but AK 47 will have to expect a tough time at the box office next week.
