    What's the story

After a relationship of six years, Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married on Thursday.

The ceremonies took place under high security, and till Deepika and Ranveer didn't share the pictures, none of us knew how they looked on their big day.

Now, marrying at Italy's Lake Como was of course expensive. But, how much did it exactly cost? We tell you.

    The venue

DeepVeer chose an exquisite villa for the wedding

DeepVeer got married in 18th century Villa del Balbianello, one of the most sought-after properties of Lake Como.

The villa was home to writer Cardinal Durini. In 1974, entrepreneur and traveler Guido Monzino took over it.

After Monzino died, the property was taken over by Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano (FAI), the National Trust of Italy. FAI is responsible for 52 properties in the country.

A glimpse into the breathtaking luxurious wedding venue of @deepikapadukone and @ranveersingh. Few facts about Villa Del Balbianello: It's not just the most famous wedding venue in the Italy but most wanted on Lake Como. It's reachable by boat though there is also a beautiful but steep path on the other side. On the floor of the porch guests are welcomed by an engraved quote which says "Fay ce que voudras" (Do what you want) a perfect way to welcome guests. #IndiagramWedding _____________________ 📸: Tap for Details . . . . . . . #indianwedding #italianwedding #deepveer #deepveerkishaadi #deepikapadukone #ranveersingh #weddingvenue #luxurywedding #deepikaranveer #destinationwedding #lakecomo #privatevilla #villadelbalbianello #weddingplanning

    The cost

Deepika and Ranveer spent a bomb at their wedding

Reservations have to be made well in advance, and quotes are shared on request.

India Today reports the average cost of one room in the villa is 400 euros (Rs. 33,000 approximately).

It has 75 rooms, meaning DeepVeer spent Rs. 24,75,000 per day. For the entire week, they gave Rs. 1,73,25,000.

They will check out on November 17, the day the villa closes for the season.

    Security

Security at the venue was tight

As it is known by now, security at the wedding was top-notch. Pictures showed security personnel keeping an eye on the castle from a boat.

To ensure guests don't click pictures, security guards covered the lenses of their cameras upon entry. Guests were also given security bands.

It is reported that Ranveer and Deepika spent Rs. 1 crore (conservatively speaking) on security arrangements only.

    The couple

    They are finally married

Deepika and Ranveer stole our hearts with their sizzling chemistry on screen. Soon their bond found its way in real life, and they became the one couple who caught attention everywhere they went.

On multiple occasions, Ranveer showed how enchanted he was with Deepika, and she said he made her a better person.

The couple's marriage has only given their fans happiness!
