Delhi High Court orders 'Doosra' makers post 2cr bank guarantee
Entertainment
The Delhi High Court has told the makers of Doosra to put up a ₹2 crore bank guarantee after claims they used Sourav Ganguly's image and career moments without his okay.
The movie can still release, but only if it follows some court-ordered rules.
'Doosra' must add disclaimers naming Ganguly
Doosra's producers now have to add clear disclaimers in both Hindi and English saying Ganguly didn't give permission for his story or likeness to be used.
This all started because Ganguly and Luv Films said their exclusive rights for an official biopic were being ignored, so the court stepped in to make sure no one thinks Ganguly endorsed Doosra.
