Dipika Kakar reveals emotional struggle post cancer surgery
TV actor Dipika Kakar recently shared how tough it was to suddenly stop breastfeeding her son Ruhaan after being diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer.
In her words, "One of the most difficult things is pure ek mahine mein rahi hai, was weaning off Ruhaan in one night."
Tumor in liver; 14-hour surgery
Kakar discovered she had a tennis ball-sized tumor in her liver, which led to a 14-hour surgery.
She spent 11 days in the hospital, had parts of her liver and gallbladder removed, and is still undergoing treatment.
She's thankful for the care she received from doctors.
