Ed Sheeran unveils new single 'Drive' for upcoming film

Ed Sheeran just released a new single, "Drive," right before the premiere of "F1: The Movie."
Produced by John Mayer and Blake Slatkin, the track brings together some big names—Mayer on guitar, Foo Fighters's Dave Grohl on drums, plus Pino Palladino on bass and Rami Jaffee on keyboards.
The song dropped just days ahead of the film's June 27 release.

'Drive' and 'F1: The Movie'

"Drive" is all about speed and living in the moment—fitting for a movie about Formula 1 racing. It's part of "F1: The Album," which also features artists like Doja Cat and Burna Boy.
As for the movie, Brad Pitt stars as a former F1 driver mentoring a rising talent, with an impressive cast and racing legend Lewis Hamilton as a producer.
