'Vettaiyan': Makers release Fahadh Faasil's first poster on his birthday

Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil turned 42 on Thursday. To mark the occasion, the first-look poster from his upcoming film Vettaiyan has been released. The poster was shared by Lyca Productions, the production company behind the film, on their official social media handle. Along with the poster, they also extended birthday wishes to the actor.

Lyca Productions praises Faasil's 'artistry and dedication'
Lyca Productions's birthday message for Faasil reads, "Team VETTAIYAN wishes our dearest Fahadh Faasil a Happy Birthday. Your artistry and dedication bring characters to life. May this year bring even more incredible roles and success." In Vettaiyan, Faasil will reportedly be seen in a comedic role opposite superstar Rajinikanth. This is the first time the two actors will be sharing screen space.

'Vettaiyan's release and Faasil's next film
Previously, in July, Lyca Productions had given fans a sneak peek into the making of Vettaiyan by sharing pictures of Faasil in the dubbing studios. The film also features an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, and Manju Warrier in pivotal roles. Vettaiyan is slated for release on October 10. Faasil is also set to appear in Sukumar's Pushpa: The Rule. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun, it'll be released on December 6.
