Farhan Akhtar's driver misused his fuel card, siphoned off money
Mumbai police have booked Naresh Singh, a 35-year-old driver for Honey Irani (Farhan Akhtar's mother), and Arun Singh, a 52-year-old petrol pump worker, for allegedly misusing fuel cards in Akhtar's name to siphon off almost ₹12 lakh.
The fraud came to light when Irani's manager, Diya Bhatia, noticed records showing impossible fuel purchases—like a 35-liter diesel car being billed for 621-liter.

Naresh admitted he got three fuel cards back in 2022 from a previous driver and regularly swiped them without actually filling up; instead, he'd get cash from the pump employee, who took a cut each time.
After his confession to Irani's manager, police registered a case and are now investigating to determine whether anyone else was involved and to recover the stolen money.
