'Gustaakh Ishq' struggles at the box office, barely hits ₹1.55cr in 6 days

"Gustaakh Ishq: Kuch Pahle Jaisa," starring Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh, hasn't found its audience since its debut on November 28.
Despite its romantic drama vibe and a promising cast, the film has only managed ₹1.55 crore net in India over six days—falling short compared to its competition, "Tere Ishk Mein" with Dhanush and Kriti Sanon.

Star power couldn't save it

Even with Naseeruddin Shah in a key role and music by Vishal Bhardwaj (the talent behind "Omkara" and "Haider"), the movie struggled after a modest ₹50L opening day.
Weekend earnings reached ₹1.3cr but quickly dropped off during the week, with low occupancy rates (just over 6% on Wednesday).
Tough competition seems to have kept viewers away from this one.
