Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and produced by KriArj Entertainment, 'Fanne Khan' is the official adaptation of the Oscar-nominated Dutch film 'Everybody's Famous' (2000). First time collaboration between Aishwarya Rai and Rajkummar Rao
The star of the year, Rajkummar Rao and actress Aishwarya would share the screen space for the first time in 'Fanne Khan'. Anil Kapoor will also join the force as one of the leads. Apparently, his look in the film was finalized after 50 hours of trials. The team spent five consecutive days and worked for nearly 10 hours just to fix his hairstyle.
About the film
The film, on which it is based, is about a father who wants to fulfil his daughter's dreams of becoming a singing sensation. He kidnaps the country's reigning superstar just so his daughter can become famous in exchange.
