He added, "In every new movie, you want the game to change, and every sequel, you want the game to change at its foundation." Holstein hinted at the possibility of bringing back elements from the first two films that were previously discarded. He specifically mentioned two emotions, Schadenfreude and Lederhosen, which were characters cut from Inside Out 2.
