What's the story

Apparently, what happens in the Bigg Boss house doesn't merely stay inside. In fact, two former co-contestants from the popular reality show's last installment have taken their in-house quarrels to another level. As it happened, singer Deepak Thakur posted an online video allegedly insulting his former co-participant Jasleen Matharu, who has now filed a police complaint over the matter. Here is more.

Backstory

Jasleen and Deepak co-participated in 'Bigg Boss 12'

To recall, both Jasleen and Deepak co-participated in popular Colors TV reality show, Bigg Boss, last year. For the uninitiated, the duo couldn't make peace with each other, and were often seen engaged in a war of words. Eventually, Jasleen got evicted from the show, while Deepak went on to become second runner-up, taking home a prize money of Rs. 20 lakh.

Response

In response, Jasleen filed a police complaint against Deepak

The video received mixed reactions on social media. While some found it funny, others said it was distasteful. Clearly, Jasleen wasn't pleased. The 28-year-old singer, who appeared on the show with noted singer-musician Anup Jalota, was quick to react, as she filed a police complaint against Deepak, over the said matter. Soon, Deepak felt the heat and posted an apology video on social media.

Apology

Deepak soon posted another video apologizing to Jasleen

As it turned out, Deepak soon felt the heat of the situation and took to social media to post another video, this time apologizing to his former co-participant. He captioned the post [translated], as "I apologize to everyone whosoever I have hurt. I respect women and I respect you too Jasleen Matharu. If you have been hurt by my funny video, I apologize."

'Bigg Boss 13'

Separately, 'Bigg Boss 13' will start in September, 2019

On a related note, the show hosted by Salman Khan will enter its 13th installment in September, this year. Interestingly, unlike the previous season, there will only be celebrity contestants this time, and no commoners. As per a leaked list of probable contestants, celebs like Zareen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Rajpal Yadav, Vijender Singh, and Meghna Malik might participate.
