Jitendra Kumar to star in movie on India's pigeon-flying culture
Jitendra Kumar, known for his role in Panchayat, is starring in a new movie that dives into India's unique pigeon-flying culture, with Pooja Bhatt playing his mom.
The film reunites Kumar with co-producer Hitesh Kewalya from Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and shines a light on the art of training and racing homing pigeons—a tradition still alive in many Indian communities.
Production company and other upcoming projects
The project is produced by Khyati Madaan under Not Out Entertainment, with Bilal Hasan making his feature directorial debut (he's also written the script). Shooting kicks off next year.
Not Out Entertainment has more lined up too, like Abhootpurva—a romantic-horror comedy—and a horror film featuring Ahan Shetty.
For Bhatt, this role adds another memorable chapter to her already impressive career.
