Justin Baldoni's massive defamation and extortion lawsuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds has been dismissed by a US judge.
Baldoni filed the suit in early 2025 after Lively accused him of sexual harassment during filming for It Ends With Us.
The court found that statements from Lively and The New York Times were legally protected, so the defamation claims didn't hold up.
Baldoni's case officially closed last day of October
The case was officially closed on October 31 after Baldoni missed a key deadline to update his complaint or respond to the court.
This means his legal battle against Lively, Reynolds, and NYT is over for now—though he can still appeal some motions about legal fees.
Meanwhile, Lively's original sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni is still moving forward in court.
