On 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma' going off-air abruptly, he said, "I need some me time to recuperate. I've been working too hard for too long. There's a lot of new exciting projects in the pipeline which I'll talk about soon."
"I love what I do and I promise that I'll be entertaining you again, as that is what I thrive on," Kapil added.
"I am very happy for them, and in the same way, I would just want them to be happy for me too. There is ample space for them to grow in the industry and I wish them the very best," said Kapil.
The recent unfortunate happenings have taken a toll on his mental health and he is trying hard to get back on his feet.
The 'Firangi' actor is reportedly on heavy medication for depression.
