Khan says no government pressure on 'Maatrubhumi' script changes
Entertainment
Salman Khan has set the record straight: there's no government pressure behind any script changes in his upcoming film, Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace.
At the Mumbai trailer launch, he explained that all creative decisions were made by the team itself, not because of outside influence or concerns about showing the India-China conflict.
'Maatrubhumi' centers on soldiers and families
Inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash, Maatrubhumi now centers on soldiers' lives and what their families go through during tough times.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia and featuring a cast including Chitrangda Singh and Mukesh Rishi, it aims to show both sides' experiences.
The film hits theaters December 4.
