Jim Sarbh shaved his head for 'Made in India'?

Karan Vyas, the writer of the recently released web series Made In India: A Titan Story, has revealed that actor Jim Sarbh shaved his head for the role of Xerxes Desai. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Vyas said, "The show has zero prosthetics. Neither Naseer saab nor Jim used any prosthetics. Everything was real."

'Jim and I were on the same page...'
Vyas further spoke about Sarbh's dedication to the role, saying, "I was involved with Jim during the readings and also interacted with him on the first day of the shoot." "We wondered if he should shave his head." "Jim and I were on the same page, while everyone else was iffy." "Jim said that he wanted to do it... He convinced everyone that he should shave his head."

Vyas praises production team's hard work
Vyas also praised the production team, saying, "The HMU (hair and makeup) team did quite a good job." "Everyone, from production design to costume to camera team, brought in their A-game." He added that Sarbh's side hair color and Naseeruddin Shah's mustache and hairstyle were all real. Vyas also expressed his disappointment that Ratan Tata, who passed away in October 2024, didn't get to see the show. "He would have been very happy as JRD was like his father figure."
