Amitabh Bachchan falls sick during 'Thugs Of Hindostan' shoot
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has fallen sick in the middle of his shoot for 'Thugs of Hindostan' in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. A team of doctors from Mumbai has rushed to the location on a charter plane to attend to the actor. They are expected to land in Jodhpur anytime now. Big B will be flown back to Mumbai for further treatment.
He wrote about his ill health in a blog post
Big B took to his blog to inform about his ill health at 5:00 am today. He wrote, "It's been rough...but when ever did any be achieved without it." "I am getting my team of doctors in tomorrow morning to fiddle around with my body and set me up again. I will rest and keep informed in process," he added.
Big B has been suffering from a gastrointestinal problem
The 75-year-old actor was last month taken to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital after he complained of pain in the neck and spine. Notably, Bachchan has a history of stomach ailments and even underwent an abdominal surgery in 2012. He is in Jodhpur along with Aamir Khan to wrap up the shoot of 'Thugs Of Hindostan'. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh.
Sr. Bachchan is currently busy with several projects
Besides 'TOH', Big B will be seen in '102 Not Out' that also features Rishi Kapoor. The film is slated to release on May 4. He is simultaneously working on Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The project is being bankrolled by Karan Johar.
