Mr. and Mrs. Mahi is a joint venture between Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta's Dharma Productions, and Zee Studios.
While plot details are being closely guarded by the makers, we know from previous posters that Kapoor and Rao will be named Mahima and Mahendra in the movie.
Initially slated for an April 19 release, the sports drama was later pushed to May 31.

Film to feature 'Say Shava Shava' reprise version: Report
While we wait for a trailer, a recent Bollywood Hungama report has hinted at an interesting tracklist tidbit.
Per the report, makers will rehash the song Say Shava Shava from Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) for Mr. and Mrs. Mahi.
However, "the recreation is not done for the whole song. Rather, they have only chosen to recreate the stanza that begins with the line Dekho Tainu Pehli Pehli Baar Ve." It'll be played during an important scene between Rao-Kapoor.
