Irrfan Khan, Sonali Bendre also battling cancer

Bollywood actors Irrfan Khan and Sonali Bendre are also currently battling cancer. Sonali was diagnosed with a 'high-grade cancer' that had metastasized. She was also undergoing treatment in New York, while Irrfan was receiving treatment for his neuroendocrine cancer in London.

Recently, SRK, Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal visited Rishi

Ever since his treatment started, several public figures and Bollywood stars have dropped by to check in on Rishi's health, including Anupam Kher, Javed Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Aamir Khan, Sonali Bendre, and Alia Bhatt, who is dating Rishi's son, actor Ranbir Kapoor. Most recently, actors Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Vicky Kaushal visited Rishi in New York City.

Meanwhile, Rishi was confirmed cancer-free on April 30

Earlier in September, Rishi had announced that he was headed to the United States for treatment and would be taking time off from work. Fans speculated that the actor had cancer after Neetu's New Year's day post which read, "Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign." In an April 30 Facebook post, Rishi's friend Rahul Rawail confirmed that he was cancer-free.

Rishi spoke about receiving bone-marrow transplant in May

Speaking to Deccan Chronicle in May, Rishi had said, "My eighth month of treatment started on May 1 in the US. But God has been kind! I am in remission, meaning now I am cancer-free." Thanking his fans for their prayers, the actor had added, "I will have to do a bone-marrow transplant which in all probability should take another two months minimum."
