Filming for all the shorts in Lust Stories 3 has already been wrapped up, with post-production currently underway. The anthology is slated to premiere in mid-2026. Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua are producing the series under their respective banners, RSVP Movies and Flying Unicorn Entertainment.

The Lust Stories franchise has been lauded for its fearless portrayal of female sexuality through a variety of stories. The first season, directed by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar and Dibakar Banerjee, featured an ensemble cast including Vicky Kaushal, Apte, Kiara Advani, and Bhumi Pednekar, among others. The second season, released in 2023, starred Tamannaah Bhatia and Mrunal Thakur, among others, in shorts directed by Sen Sharma, R Balki, Sujoy Ghosh, and Amit Ravindernath Sharma.
