Netflix's 'KPop Demon Hunters's song lands on Oscars shortlist

Netflix's animated hit "KPop Demon Hunters" just scored big—its song "Golden" is now on the Oscars shortlist for Best Original Song.
Released back in June, the film has quickly become Netflix's biggest animated original feature, and now its music is getting some serious recognition.
The Academy announced "Golden" as one of only 15 songs still in the running.

"Golden" brings together artists EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI, with writing by EJAE and Mark Sonnenblick and production from 24, Ido, Teddy Park, and Ian Eisendrath.
The movie itself was directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, featuring voice talent like Arden Cho and Daniel Dae Kim.
Final Oscar nominations drop January 22—so fingers crossed for this creative team!
