'Marry My Dead Body' (Netflix- August 10)
The heartwarming Taiwanese horror-comedy film Marry My Dead Body presents a humorous take on tradition, perfect for Ghost Month. The film follows the marriage between Wu Ming-Han (Hsu Kuang Han) and Mao Pang-Yu (Austin Lin) and incorporates elements of fantasy, supernatural, and LGBTQ+ issues. It won the Best Screenplay award at the 25th Taipei Film Festival, among other nominations.

'Heart of Stone' (Netflix- August 11)
The spy action thriller film Heart of Stone stars Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Alia Bhatt, Sophie Okonedo, and Matthias Schweighöfer. Agent of international intelligence Rachel Stone (Gadot) is forced to undertake a hazardous assignment to safeguard the mysterious MacGuffin known as "The Heart." Stone's job is to prevent the item from getting into enemy hands as part of the Charter peacekeeping mission.

'Commando' (Disney+ Hotstar- August 11)
Created by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the Hindi spy action thriller series Commando stars Prem, in and as, Commando, Adah Sharma, and, Vaibhav Tatwadi, among others. The series shows what Commando Virat does to rescue an Indian spy behind the enemy lines and to save India which is also in danger. It is produced by Shah and Sunshine Pictures.

'Maaveeran' (Amazon Prime Video- August 11)
Starring Sivakarthikeyan, Maaveeran follows a feeble and timid cartoonist who along with other members of a slum-dwelling community is forced to relocate to a poorly built apartment complex. Despite inconveniences, when he refuses to voice his concerns about the despicable conditions, he hears the voice of his comic strip character who urges him to stand up against corruption and fight for his people.
