'Christmas as Usual' (December 6- Netflix)

Petter Holmsen's upcoming comedy film Christmas as Usual stars Ida Ursin-Holm and Indian stand-up comedian Kanan Gill. The film follows Thea Evjan (Ursin-Holm) as she introduces her Indian partner Jashan (Gill) to her Norwegian family over the Christmas break. "Life-long traditions are bent in every direction as the vibrant colors of Bollywood collide with the cold Norwegian winter," reads its official synopsis.

'The Archies' (December 7- Netflix)

The Archies is filmmaker Zoya Akhtar's reimagination of the classic Archie Comics that explores friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak and rebellion. The coming-of-age musical film follows Archie's gang— Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel, and Dilton- in an Anglo-Indian hill station setting in 1964. It stars Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda, and Dot, among others.

'Chamak' (December 7- SonyLIV)

The upcoming musical thriller web series Chamak follows Kaala, a young aspiring rapper portrayed by Paramvir Singh Cheema. As Kaala arrives in Punjab from Canada, he learns about the death of his father Tara Singh, a legendary singer. He was shot dead during one of his packed performances. The show delves into the dark underbelly of Punjab's indie music industry.

'Detective Knight: Redemption' (December 8- Lionsgate Play)

Directed by Edward John Drake, the second installment in the Detective Knight film series is a Christmas action film. A sequel to Dark Knight: Rogue, the film stars Paul Johansson and Bruce Willis. Willis plays Detective James Knight, who deals with "both mercy and justice- on his terms - when the city is terrorized by The Christmas Bomber."

'Kadak Singh' (December 8- ZEE5)

Starring Pankaj Tripathi as the titular character, the upcoming thriller film Kadak Singh is directed by the National Award-winning filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. Despite having retrograde amnesia, Department of Financial Crimes officer AK Srivastava aka Kadak Singh (Tripathi) solves a Chit Fund Scam case by hearing other people's accounts of his background and how he got to the hospital.
