Bruce Willis is an American actor, singer, and film producer who is popularly known for the blockbuster movie series ‘Die Hard’ (1988-2013). He was born on March 19, 1955, in West Germany. He began his acting career in 1982 in Paul Newman’s ‘The Verdict.’ After working in small roles, he got a major breakthrough with the television drama series ‘Moonlighting’ (1985-1989). Since then he has done an array of award-winning movies and drama series. Some of his critically-acclaimed movies are--‘The Last Boy Scout’ (1991), ‘Striking Distance’ (1993), ‘Pulp Fiction’ (1994), ‘Last Man Standing’ (1996), ‘The Fifth Element (1997), ‘Mercury Rising’ (1998), ‘The Sixth Sense’ (1999), ‘Hart’s War’ (2002), ‘Tears of the Sun’ (2003), ‘Hostage’ (2005), ‘Over the Hedge’ (2006), ‘Perfect Stranger’ (2007) ‘Surrogates’ (2009), ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ (2012), and ‘Motherless Brooklyn’ (2019). He is also the co-founder of Planet Hollywood, a themed restaurant chain, along with actors Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone. He is the recipient of two Emmy awards and two Golden Globe Awards. He was nominated four times for the famous Saturn Award. In 2006, he was honored with the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 1987, Willis launched his album ‘The Return of Bruno,’ as a singer. He is the former husband of American actress Demi Moore (1987-2000). He married English model Emma Herring in 2009.
