In his Instagram post, Sen fondly remembered his first meeting with Bhosle. He wrote, "Asha Taii.. we all have loved you each breath. And that love won't finish, ever." "I met you when you came to sing for Filhaal, and I was too shy to even come in front of you...and you called and said - kahan hai vo Dhoom band vaalaa."

Sen further wrote, "Of course, I have no pics with you. You don't ask God for selfies. Obviously, I wasn't good enough to sing with you ever." Last rites will be conducted today

Bhosle, who was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday, passed away following multiple organ failure. Her last rites will be conducted at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on Monday at 4:00pm. Over her long, legendary career, Bhosle was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Padma Vibhushan, and Maharashtra Bhushan, among others. The phenomenal singer's demise has left a void in the Indian music industry that can never be filled.
