What's the story

Hollywood actor Pierce Brosnan has dismissed the behind-the-scenes drama on the set of Paramount+'s MobLand as a "storm in a teacup." The James Bond actor was speaking at the Season 2 premiere in London to the Press Association when he addressed rumors of a feud between Tom Hardy and showrunner Jez Butterworth. Despite these reports, Brosnan insisted that their team is united and committed to their work.

Actor's statement

'Everyone shows up for work'

Brosnan said, "Oh my God, it was a storm in a teacup, really."

"I love the dude. I love Tom Hardy."

He added, "We are rock solid as a company, as a family. Everyone shows up for work, and everybody's just there on the spot."

"It moves very fast, so it's not like we go out and socialize and go to the pub or anything like that."

Co-stars' respect

Hardy also praised Brosnan

Hardy, who stars alongside Brosnan in MobLand, called it a "privilege" to work with him and Helen Mirren.

He said, "In many aspects, of course, I look up to them. Coming up, these are actors that came before me."

Mirren also spoke highly of her relationship with Brosnan, saying they have an "extraordinary chemistry on-screen and off-screen."
