Pitt's 'Heart of the Beast' privately screened at SBIFF Riviera
Brad Pitt's new film, Heart of the Beast, got a special private showing this week at Santa Barbara's SBIFF Riviera Theatre, ahead of its official premiere on September 16 in Tennessee.
The invite-only crowd included Josh Brolin and Zoe Saldana, and one guest summed it up with, "There was not a dry eye in the house."
So yeah, bring tissues.
Ayer directs soldier and dog survival
Directed by David Ayer (who teamed up with Pitt for Fury), the movie follows a special forces officer and his combat dog surviving together in Alaska after a plane crash.
The dog is trained by Andrew Simpson (think John Wick and The Revenant).
With its unique premise and emotional vibe, Heart of the Beast is already getting buzz, especially in middle America, and looks set to draw even more attention when it officially drops next week.
