Pradeep Ranganathan returns to direction with AGS Entertainment
Pradeep Ranganathan, known for Love Today and Dragon, is making his directorial comeback with an untitled film for AGS Entertainment.
Shooting starts in 2026, and he'll also star in it—building on his streak of three ₹100 crore blockbusters.
Why does this matter?
This project is reportedly especially meaningful for Ranganathan—it's said to be a script he's wanted to make for years and even pitched to Vijay earlier.
Producer Archana Kalpathi called it "a highly exciting project" for AGS.
Plus, AGS has more films coming up soon, including a Silambarasan-Ashwath Marimuthu rom-com packed with dance numbers.
What else is cooking?
Ranganathan's sci-fi rom-com Love Insurance Kompany (with Krithi Shetty and SJ Suryah) is also on the way, though its release was pushed back from Deepavali due to delays.
