Rajpal Yadav's ancestral home in trouble amid money problems

Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav is in the news once again for his legal troubles. The Central Bank of India has reportedly issued an attachment notice worth ₹16.61cr on his ancestral home in Shahjahanpur and his Mumbai residence, reported Dainik Bhaskar. The bank has warned that these properties will be auctioned if the debt isn't repaid within 34 days, with the auction scheduled for September 9.

Bank manager addresses reports
Yadav's elder brother Shripal Yadav has now clarified the property auction reports, calling them old.
He said, "This is an old matter. Talks are underway with the bank regarding loan repayment. The matter will be resolved soon."
"Currently, there is no situation like property auction," he added.
Central Bank manager Anuj Verma also addressed the reports and said a notice was put up on the building in Kundra, Shahjahanpur, two years ago.

Yadav was sentenced to 3 months in prison
In a separate case, the Delhi High Court sentenced Yadav to three months in prison for seven incidents of bounced checks on July 7.
He was ordered to pay ₹1.05cr in each case, totaling ₹7.35cr. The court noted that Yadav had already paid around ₹2cr, which would be deducted from the total amount due.
His film Ata Pata Lapata is linked to this case as he took a loan of ₹5cr to direct it in 2010 but couldn't repay it.
