It's a wrap! R Madhavan's 'G.D.N' completes filming
What's the story
The production of G.D.N, the biopic on legendary Indian scientist G.D. Naidu, has been completed. Producer Vijay Moolan shared the news on Instagram on Monday with pictures from a wrap-up party in Dubai. He wrote, "And ... it's a wrap for #GDN ... #WrapUpParty." The film stars R Madhavan as Naidu and is directed by Krishnakumar Ramkumar.

'G.D.N' features an ensemble cast and crew
The film features an ensemble cast including Priyamani, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, and Sathyaraj. It is produced by Moolan and Varghese Moolan. Madhavan also co-produces the film with his wife Sarita, through their banner Tricolour Films. The technical team includes music by Govind Vasantha and cinematography by Aravind Kamalanathan, who is also the creative producer.

'G.D.N' explores Naidu's life and inventions
Naidu was a self-taught engineer and inventor from Coimbatore. He is known for developing India's first indigenous electric motor, as well as petrol engines, ticket machines, and agricultural equipment. He passed away in 1974 at 80. The film marks the reunion of Tricolour Films and Varghese Moolan Pictures after their successful collaboration on Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. Meanwhile, Madhavan, currently seen in Dhurandhar, will also feature in Adhirshtasaali, helmed by Mithran R. Jawahar.
