Pritam Pedro is a cybercrime thriller that stars Arshad Warsi as an old-school cop who has to work with Hirani's character, a tech-savvy young officer. The series was initially slated for release in 2025-26, but got delayed due to prolonged production. A source close to the project revealed, "The cyber crime thriller was originally mentioned in the streamer's 2025-26 slate. But as work on the series went on for long, it is finally arriving this May."

Hirani's casting in Pritam Pedro was a last-minute decision by Rajkumar. Initially, Vikrant Massey was cast as the young cop, but he had to exit the project. An insider said, "Vir wasn't supposed to be launched with Pritam Pedro. But during casting changes, Hirani felt Vir could fit in as a young tech geek."
