Sunny Deol's 'Jaat 2': Santoshi to charge ₹15cr for directing

Bollywood actor Sunny Deol is set to collaborate with director Rajkumar Santoshi for the upcoming film Jaat 2. And, as per Bollywood Hungama, Santoshi is being paid a whopping ₹15 crore to helm the sequel. A source revealed, "The paperwork is expected to happen in a month." Meanwhile, Gopichand Malineni directed the original film, but he won't be returning due to other commitments.

The producers of Jaat 2, Mythri and People's Media Factory, are excited about the sequel and have Deol's support. A source told Bollywood Hungama, "The producers and Sunny Deol are confident that Rajkumar Santoshi's direction will raise the stakes even further for the sequel." Filming will begin in late 2026 after the actor-director duo's other film, Lahore: 1947, releases.
