Ranbir-Deepika to reunite with 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' director
What's the story
Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are reportedly reuniting for a new film directed by Ayan Mukerji, marking their first collaboration in a decade, after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha. The project is said to be a loose adaptation of the 1956 classic Chori Chori, starring Raj Kapoor and Nargis. India Today reported that Mukerji will be modernizing the original story, which followed the unlikely bond between a runaway heiress and a sharp-tongued reporter.
Legacy revival
Kapoor to revive RK Films with this project

The new film will not just replicate the original storyline but will reimagine its core premise for a modern audience, weaving in modern character arcs.
