Ravi Teja shooting 'Ramarao On Duty's last leg in Spain
Ravi Teja, who was last seen in the critical and commercial failure Khiladi that released in February, is busy shooting his next, Ramarao On Duty. Popularly known as Mass Maharaja, Teja is right now in Spain to film two song sequences for the movie after which its shooting schedule will finally get wrapped up. Ramarao On Duty is being directed by Sarath Mandava.
Reports suggest that the makers of Ramarao On Duty are also working on the film's post-production simultaneously. So, as soon as Teja returns from Spain, they would start the promotional activities as well. Apart from him, the Telugu action thriller also stars Rajisha Vijayan, Divyansha Kaushik, Venu Thottempudi, Nassar, Naresh, John Vijay, and Pavitra Lokesh. It is yet to get a release date.
The team attached to the film had released a teaser recently that was packed with fight scenes. It ended with the words, "Get ready to face it." Meanwhile, the cinematography for Ramarao on Duty is being handled by Sathyan Sooryan ISC, while Praveen KL is taking care of the edits. Sam CS is composing the music. Makers have not released any song yet.
The movie is bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of SLV Cinemas LLP and RT Teamworks. As far as Ramarao On Duty's OTT rights are concerned, SonyLIV has bagged the same. The film was to get released on March 25, but as soon as RRR locked that date, makers have pushed its release. Ramarao on Duty may now hit theaters in April.
Separately, Teja has a busy year ahead. He is also shooting Trinadha Rao Nakkina's action entertainer Dhamaka currently, which hit the floors last year in October. He also has Tiger Nageswara Rao that is helmed by Vamsi Krishna Naidu and Sudheer Varma's Ravanasura in the pipeline. Teja will probably play a lawyer in the latter. Tiger Nageswara Rao is being bankrolled by Abhishek Arts.
