Rhea Chakraborty just got her passport returned after five long years. The Bombay High Court decided in her favor, ending a wait that started when her passport was taken during the 2020 investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
She shared the moment online, writing, "Ready for my Chapter 2!"
Why her passport was taken in the 1st place
Back in September 2020, Rhea was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau as part of a drug probe linked to Rajput's case.
Her bail meant giving up her passport, which stayed with authorities until now.
The court has finally allowed her to travel abroad.
Rhea's journey since then
Known for movies like Sonali Cable and Jalebi, and more recently seen in Chehre (2021), Rhea has also made a TV comeback with MTV Roadies.
On Instagram, she wrote she's "Ready for my Chapter 2," reflecting on "countless battles" and "endless hope" along the way.
