Lynch teased big changes in his personal life earlier
Lynch's confirmation comes after he teased some major changes in his personal life during his return to Instagram earlier this year.
After a year-long hiatus, the Teen Beach actor returned to the platform on June 28 with photos and videos of his music setup, guitar, dogs, and a notebook.
One follower commented, "more like what did WE miss?" with a ring emoji.
Lynch replied, "Hahaha A LOT."
Meanwhile, Lynch has not made his wife's identity public.
Career shift
'Excited to be acting again'
Apart from his personal life, Lynch also spoke about his return to acting after a year of focusing on music with his brother Rocky Lynch in their band The Driver Era.
He said, "I was excited to be acting again for sure. It was nice to be on set. The script was very compelling. I thought it was a good story."
Lynch plays Jace Jacobs in Heartland, a character he describes as a "lost soul" who "loves celebrity."
Co-star collaboration
'Working with Jessica was funny because...'
Lynch also spoke highly of his co-star Jessica Chastain in Heartland.
"Working with Jessica was funny because, you know, it's been a while for me being acting," he told the outlet.
"After a while, when I started getting warmed up, she would give me this nod of approval, which was kind of fun and reassuring."
