Kaalakaandi: Reasons to watch this Saif Ali Khan-starrer

    What's the story

It has been a decade since Saif has featured in an experimental film. He is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood but unfortunately, the directors have failed to use his potential to the fullest.

He has always been given roles that are in his comfort-zone.

But now, Saif is all set to blow your mind in 'Kaalakaandi'. Here's why.

    Details

Most likely to be a one-man show

Although there are multiple actors starring in 'Kaalakaandi', all eyes would be on one and only Saif Ali Khan, who is seen in a never before avatar.

By the looks of it, this is unlike any other character that the nawab has previously played.

Also, the director has shown his fun side. His infectious sense of humor is portrayed well in the movie.

    Makers

It comes from the makers of 'Delhi Belly'

One of the prime reasons you should throng the theatres to watch 'Kaalakaandi' is that it is the debut film of Akshat Verma, who wrote the groundbreaking 'Delhi Belly', a film that still appears on our favorites' list.

Set in Mumbai, 'Kaalakaandi' is a dark comedy, involving six characters from different walks of life whose paths collide on one monsoon night.

    Songs

    Super trippy songs

The makers of 'Kaalakaandi' are releasing the songs one by one. First, they had released 'Swagpur Ka Choudhary' and today 'Kaala Doreya' by Neha Bhasin, a re-creation of a Punjabi folk song, has come out.

Both the songs are trippy and don't let us stop our feet from tapping the moment we hear them.

With so many fun elements, one should definitely watch 'Kaalakaandi'.
