Salman slams false US tour reports, warns action over fraud
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has issued a clarification about rumors of his upcoming US tour in 2024. The 58-year-old actor, through his social media accounts on Monday, stated that neither he nor anyone from his team is organizing any concerts or appearances in the US. He also warned of legal action against anyone found misusing his name for any fraudulent purposes.
Khan cautions fans against fake news
The actor cautioned his fans and followers against buying tickets for any of his upcoming US tours. He mentioned that he has no plans to travel to US for any of his tours. A note read, "This is to inform that neither Mr. Salman Khan nor any of his affiliated companies or teams are organizing any upcoming concerts or appearances in the USA in 2024." "Please do not trust any emails, messages, or advertisements promoting such event."
Khan's upcoming projects
Khan was last seen in Tiger 3 directed by Maneesh Sharma. The film is a part of Aditya Chopra's spy universe comprising War 2, Alpha and other future spin-offs. The actor will be next seen in Sajid Nadiadwala's action-thriller Sikandar. The film is directed by AR Murugadoss and features Rashmika Mandanna and others in pivotal characters. Khan also has Karan Johar's The Bull and YRF's Tiger vs Pathaan in the pipeline.
Khan's current shoot for 'Sikandar'
Khan is currently busy shooting for Sikandar, where he recently filmed a colorful song with Mandanna at SRPF Ground in Goregaon, set against the backdrop of Dharavi's slums. The song features 200 background dancers and portrays the slum dwellers in a festive mood. The shoot will continue in Mumbai until October, after which the team will head to Europe to film two romantic songs. Khan, recovering from a rib injury, initially shot lighter action scenes.
