A tribute to Shashi Kapoor and Sridevi at Oscars 2018
What's the story
The 90th Academy Awards paid homage to Bollywood legends Shashi Kapoor and Sridevi. The late actors featured in the 'In Memoriam' segment of the prestigious awards. The special montage also included Robert Osborne, Jonathan Demme, John Heard, Walter Lassally, Harry Dean Stanton, Glenne Headly, Jerry Lewis, Roger Moore and Sam Shepard, among others.

Fans left teary-eyed
A musical tribute was given to all the departed souls by Eddie Vedder who sang Tom Petty's "Room At The Top". All the Indian fans, as well as several Bollywood stars, were overwhelmed to see the loss of Shashi Kapoor and Sridevi being acknowledged at the Oscars. The likes of Rishi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Farah Khan were grateful to the Academy.
