Shloka Mehta's 'Mangal Parv' lehenga is jaw-dropping expensive
Diamond princess Shloka Mehta is now married to Akash Ambani. Their wedding on March 9 was certainly an extravagant affair, as is expected of the Ambanis. It was followed by a post-wedding party called Mangal Parv and the new bride dazzled in her embellished, champagne-hued lehenga saree, which was designed by Manish Malhotra. The dress not only was pretty, but extremely expensive too!
The Ambani bahu chose to wear the ace-designer's limited edition for her first post-wedding appearance. No doubt she made heads turn with her glamorous avatar. The embellished lehenga saree that she wore had intricate jaali (fish net) work and rose gold Swarovski crystals with a stunning drape. Coming to the cost, this designer wear is expected to be worth over Rs. 5 lakh.
For her D-day, Shloka wore a custom Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla lehenga, which had intricate cutwork jaali with fine zardozi and jadau embroidery. Besides, her blouse was also embellished with zardozi maal and jadau. Shloka completed her look with two dupattas, one with trellis formation of floral motifs and the other featured bootis all over it. Given the dress and day, she looked resplendent.
After the grand wedding, a lavish reception will be hosted by them tonight in Mumbai. BKC is the venue for this party as well. This will also be a starry affair, with several Bollywood big shots marking their attendance, along with other prominent personalities.
Meanwhile, several videos from the night have gone viral on social media, wherein Akash and Shloka were seen setting the dance floor on fire. In one of the videos, popular American rock band Maroon 5 made the couple dance hand in hand on their romantic number She Will Be Loved. Needless to say, their romantic dance was a sight to behold for everyone.
